Chicken & Duck Gallery
I grew up on a dairy farm and have always loved birds, animals and of course, chickens. I see unique, many times silly personalities in each animal. Over the years I have enjoyed drawing and painting animals. People say my animals have attitude.
I have always wanted to raise my own chickens. There are not many animals as fun and whimsical as chickens. This series of ‘Chicken’ art grew out of that desire and a trip to our local Runnings Farm Store two years ago. I ended up buying ten chickens and two ducks. I just had to paint them, hence this series. I can assure you, there will be more chicken paintings in the future, so check back.
