We live in beautiful Minnesota which is known as the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes'. When we first moved to New London there was a sign on Main Street that read, 'Fifteen Lakes in Fifteen Minutes'. On the weekends during the spring, summer and fall seasons our population numbers swell, because families return to their lake cabins. But, long before the first winter snow, people 'close up' their cabins and head back to the Twin Cities (and elsewhere) to get on with life.
